We got call saying our vehicle was ready. I asked if we could pay over the phone because we have a newborn, my husband was on call for the fire dept, and Jason is good friends with us so he would’ve just brought the car back to us. Was told no we can’t take credit over the phone. I said okay well I can get cash there but I’m not sure when. It was followed up with I’m not comfortable taking that much cash and if you don’t come in and pay I’m not releasing the vehicle to Jason because that’s not his decision to take your car home for you. I said is there anyway I can pay over the phone. She said absolutely not. I said well I’ll bring the cash as soon as I can make it there. She said I’m not comfortable with that much cash. I can take a check. I explained how I’d have to go to Rockford to put the cash in my bank and then write a check. Well you can come in and pay with a card was the next response. So I get there around 5:10 and pay with my credit card because someone said they didn’t want the cash only to find out I was charged over $105 for a fee on my card! When I had the cash to begin with! Then I was told that they didn’t even know there was a fee with the card and that was new to them also! Then the GM told me they could’ve even sent me a link to pay and I wouldn’t have had to come in! Absolutely awful at the front desk! Then I called the next day to follow up with Patrick! I asked for him. Cheryl said yes he’s right here and then she goes wait who’s calling. I said my name and she goes yeah he left he’s not here anymore. She said she would have him call me back. 3 hours went by and I called back and no one will answer my calls now! Will never be going back!!!!!

These people are Artisans! We bought a pre-owned Cadillac w some cosmetic defects. It has a very unusual custom color. Patrick's team did some repainting and buffing and she looks as gorgeous as the day she came off the line! Incredible work! The whole team is polite, efficient and professional. They will carefully go over every detail they plan to do and give you a very honest bid. We are very, very pleased with the work they did for us! Highly recommend Kunes Auto Body!
