I want to start by saying that the body work on my vehicle looks good and that's why I gave them a high score, and I appreciate the work that was done. However, I did want to bring something else to your/their attention. Before I dropped my vehicle off, I took a picture of the inside of my console armrest, which showed that I had quite a bit of loose change in there—quarters, nickels, dimes, etc. When I picked up the vehicle, I noticed that most of that change was gone. I’m not sure why the console armrest would have been opened or accessed, since there was nothing in that compartment that was needed for the repairs. My tire lock, for example, is kept in the glove compartment. I understand that your office has a notice stating that they are not responsible for missing personal items, but I wanted to bring this to your attention because I have a photo documenting what was in the compartment before the vehicle was left with them. I’m not necessarily looking to make an accusation, but I do think it’s concerning and something the shop should be aware of so that it doesn’t happen to another customer.
