I still think they did beautiful work. Some of their staff is amazing to work with and will really explain things to you along the way. However, this last time at their facility I had the unfortunate chance to speak with a gentleman to fix a smaller fix on my car, which I was paying for myself and instead of trying help me the best way he could he was just trying to treat me like a dumb woman that he thought he could get over on. He was not friendly at all. Talked in circles to try and make it sound like all the extra work was necessary to have everything look good together. However he left a lot out especially why the fee would be so high. The manager was kind when I spoke with him giving me the option to not take apart other areas to blend the paint because some parts you can not reuse AND THATS WHERE A LOT OF EXTRA MONEY CAME IN. We decided not to do it. So while doing the car he again tried to call me and get me to add more work for another $200+ . I said that area should have been included in the original estimate and No I am not consenting to any more money. However, My car was completed looks great and they were even able to save me an additional $200 off my bill cause everything blended so well. Thank you to the Original caring staff of Maine Collision for wanting to keep a solid reputation for their name.

I'd give you a 10 on the work. But I'd only give you a 1 on transparency, very disappointed on the lying about procedures, that really really bothered me. Then blaming progressive for procedures, must have realized progressives going to be calling their customers to check in, and said customer might most likely ask progressive about said policy. And progressive denies that is their policy, and they always strongly recommend if vehicle's are drivable they remain with the customers till parts arrive and repair time has been scheduled. I dont take being lied to very well. At that point I've lost all trust. Honesty is always the best policy, from my experience anyway.
