I am very happy with the body work done on my truck by Mcabee Carstar. The process was explained to me on my first visit and was followed pretty much to the letter. Each time I called in the receptionist was very friendly and answered all my questions. If I hadn’t had to deal with my insurance company, everything would’ve gone even more smoothly, but I had been prepared by Mcabee that my insurance company would likely make the process longer than it should. Hopefully I won’t need to select a body shop again, but if I do, it will be Mcabee.

After an initial 6 week repair estimate I called the day before the initial 6 week date which was a Thursday, to be informed that it would be another 4 weeks for repairs and that my claims person had forgotten to call me and tell me. After waiting another 4 weeks, I called on the Wednesday prior to the Friday date that I thought I would be picking up to be informed that the wrong windshield had been received. I then called on Friday to be told it would be the following Monday. Upon picking up the vehicle I was informed that there was more damage than initial thought. I was also informed that my claims person had been out of the country for 3 weeks during my repair time which maybor may not have contributed to the extended time frame. All in all, I had horrible communication from McAbees about my vehicle repairs and will not be returning in the future.
