Founded June 1, 1980 Founders: Jerry Cervak & The Late Jim Vacala In June of 1980, we opened a checking account with $65.00 and proceeded to buy business cards and hats and started Metal Mites Auto Body. Metal Mites was the name Jerry's wife created for metal caricatures that Jerry was making as a hobby. The company was located in Jerry's garage from June, 1980 to January 1, 1982 when we moved to 8916 Fairview, Brookfield. In December of 1985 we had the opportunity to purchase Falconer Wheel & Brake's building. After months of rehab we made the "big move" into our home at 36 East Quincy, Riverside on June 1, 1986. mechanic working on car body Over the past 20 years we have had many changes and challenges. Unfortunately in March of 1997 we suffered our biggest loss when Jim passed on. He is sorely missed and will not be forgotten. You did a great job and are always a pleasure to work with. You found problems with the car that I did not anticipate such as the suspension and the hole in the battery. You also worked quickly considering the passenger side door was so badly damaged.

Very good service and communications. After an accident, Metal Mites did my repairs and body work on my Toyota Corolla. Excellent body work. When needed the car was sent out for addition repairs. Their work had a limited life time warranty.. upon completion my car was as returned clean inside and outside. I appreciated the additional instructions regarding car washes and no wax products. This was very helpful. I highly recommend this body shop. Five Star service! Thank you!
