when I dropped the truck off I asked him to see if they can replace the light strip under the tailgate. I let him know I wasn't sure if the light strip stopped working from the accident or not but he said he would take a look at it and see what he can do as if possibly get another strip light. When I picked it up, and asked if he was able to get another one he was like oh, I just thought you wanted to plug it in. But that wasn't what we discussed.I was a little let down that it wasn't replaced, but at the end of the day, it is only a light strip that I will have to replace.
