Instead of replacing the bumper and repainting it as they had promised, the body shop merely repaired the old bumper and only painted the right side, leaving the left side as it was with scratches and marks. I was beyond upset and couldn't believe that they would treat a customer this way. To make matters worse, they didn't even have the decency to explain why they had not done the work they were paid to do. It is extremely disappointing when a business fails to live up to its promises, especially when it comes to something as important as fixing a damaged vehicle. The fact that the body shop charged the insurance company for work that was not actually done is completely unethical and shows a lack of respect for their customers. I recently had a truly terrible experience with NHP autobody shop and I feel that it is important to share my story so that others can be aware of the way this shop treats its customers. I had a rare bumper that needed to be replaced and repainted and State Farm insurance company agreed to pay for the work. The body shop charged the insurance company $5144.38 for the job, but what I received in return was completely unacceptable. Bill stated that it’s a brand new bumper and I showed him left side untreated and he said well these are scratches and marks that’s not part of the claim so my question was: why did you charge insurance the cost to replace the entire bumper?
