We have been repairing cars in Pickens and surrounding counties since 1980, making us the oldest body shop in Pickens County. R and R Body Shop has only had four owners and two of those being a father and daughter with one other owner in between. New Owner, Stephen Ayotte was raised and still resides in Pickens County and loves supporting his community. Our body shop repair men have over 30 years experience and take pride in all their work.

Personal interaction with the shop is friendly and informative. The auto text messages that went out were incorrect. Auto messages were being relayed that repair was on schedule and ready for completion on the day previously estimated. This lead to mislaid plans (turning in the rental 2 weeks prior to actual completion- and all the last minute plans to make sure daily life with work, kids, appointments and schedules could still go on.) When we called to arrange pickup the day it was due to be completed is when we learned that it was known that the auto texts were going out incorrectly. After we addressed this, they corrected the problem immediately and we received regular detailed and accurate weekly updates until repair was completed.

Customer service was very good. Unfortunately It took a month to fix my car with repeated calls. The interior of my car had a clean door and now I have white stuff all over the door on the driver side. I cannot get it off so I went to y’all. A very nice gentleman tried to clean it off. When I left it was wet, but when it dried it’s still there. I will bring it back so you can clean it again since this wasn’t there when I dropped it off.

Because I’m not there to look at my car after the work was done is very frustrating. When Tim came to pick up my car,he never looked at the right side. You know where you replaced the two wheels & 2 tires. After he got home,he said one of the “new” wheels was different. Not acceptable.

A distinguished reputation in the community ? The door repair is good . The rockers are touch up fiberglass and not smooth . Unrepaired section on both left and right sides. A 3 ft section of left rocker is primed gray and un sanded and Was not painted. Spot painting was all I got on both sides. The reason I brought it in was primarily for the rearr bumper mouldings. . Nothing done on that , .
