Founded in 1973, Ripple’s Auto Body offers quality collision repair to the local community and surrounding areas. With over 70 years of combined experience, our staff of highly trained and professionally skilled employees focuses on your needs first. As of July 2018, we are under new ownership of the Lewis Family. Michael and Traci met and married over 24 years ago while both were employed at Shelby’s in Urbana in Urbana Illinois. Traci worked as the warranty clerk and accounts receivable, while Michael was the lead painter in the body shop. After leaving to continue his career in the automotive paint industry he worked for Dupont Automotive Refinish /Axalta Specialty Coatings for over 23 years. Over the last twenty-some years they have raised four grown children (an electrician, an air crewman, a banker and a pilot) and are the doting grandparents of 4 wonderful grandchildren. When away from work they enjoy boating and lake life.

My parents had nothing but good things to say about Ripple’s; I grew up in Mount Zion and my family always used the shop for repairs, so it was an obvious choice for me when my Jeep was sidelined from an accident. They returned my Jeep to driving condition in no time — great communication from the Ripple’s team, and such an awesome job on the repairs! You can’t even tell where my Jeep took the hit. Thanks so much, I will definitely use Ripple’s again if my Jeep needs body work in the future.

Excellent service with knowledgeable and customer oriented staff. I was treated with respect and time was taken to answer my questions. The paint job was awesome and truck returned to me cleaner than I dropped it off to them. I would highly recommend them.
