Rusty Wallace did a phenomenal job. The repair was perfect, the service was easy, helpful, and professional, and the repair was finished within a reasonable amount of time. I HIGHLY recommend them!

Not only will I not recommend it but I will tell people to stay far away from Rusty Wallace and I am very upset that Farm Bureau has this shop on its perferred shop list

Repair Quality

I was lied to repeatedly by the shop about what was occurring with my car which was acknowledged by the GM finally at the end. He did take responsibility for it but there was never an apology or a we will make sure our people don't lie to customers anymore. My car was kept for over a month while I was paying $700.00 a month car payments for it and I was given cars that were of much lesser quality to drive during that time. When I got my final invoice it had around 3 hours of labor that had to be done and somehow 7 hours of paint for a front bumper repair but in all around 11 hours of actual work for having kept my car for a month. But the biggest thing is that this shop is not trustworthy. To know that they flat out lied to me over and over is absolutely inexcusable and I would never feel comfortable with them fixing anything for me again. My brother is coming in this May and will buying his 16 year old a car. I had initially been planning to send him to Greg Taylor at Rusty Wallace who sold me my car and who did a great job but based on my experience with this shop, I could never recommend any Rusty Wallace shop or dealership to anyone. So a $3,000 or so repair job just cost your business 30k to 40k in lost sales.

Customer Service

See my prior answer. Also, any updates I wanted about the status of my car 9/10 I had to be the one to call and ask what was happening. It was only after I got upset and started calling Farm Bureau and the owner that they finally started giving me updates. Before that it was silent for almost a month unless I called and asked. Also when I went to pick up my loaner car after they kept my car for almost a month on a at most 11 hour job, they gave me a smoker's car that was on empty and had a check engine light on. I complained and they put me in an even older car that had a check engine light on the whole time I had it but at least did not smell like smoke. There is no customer service at this shop.

From the initial insurance claim in February to the date of dropoff for a repair in April, it was over a month before the shop even took it in to be repaired. I was not informed of why this delay was necessary, but it wasn't timely all the same. The actual work done was good quality, though.

I have to schedule my car for completion because the pin stripes were not available. I consider this a supply issue not the lack of service by the Collision Center.

Customer Service

Everyone was friendly but the communication was kind of miserable. I would have to call for updates. The original repair date was moved back due to part availability which I completely understand so I call in advance before the rescheduled appointment and was told that all parts were in and then 2 weeks after the car is there I call for an update and I’m told we are still waiting on 2 parts. It’s not really a big deal I just wish it could have been a little more communication involved.
