While this repair was in, we opened another claim 2024-817732 that was ultimately rejected. Understanding the policy thresholds, I instructed Ryan's that I would pay out of pocket for the repair based upon the estimate NJM. Ryan's informed me that they would not do the job and that the estimate was not accurate. They said that NJM instructed them to provide a false estimate because you were going to deny the claim and only wanted the estimate for documentation. Such a practice is fraudulent on all levels. Being a policyholder for over 30yrs, I don't believe NJM would conduct itself in such a manner as that would indeed be fraud, so I do not trust the ethics of this shop.
