It only take credit card and cash. The credit card charges unreasonable 10% service fee, and the cash option offers no formal receipt (or a simple hand written receipt). Otherwise the service is good and speedy.

Unbelievable customer service from beginning to end. They handled all the paperwork with the insurance company and the rental car. I never had to make a phone call and the workmanship was outstanding. I would recommend Salem Street Autobody to anyone.

TLDR; AVOID THIS AUTO BODY SHOP AT ALL COSTS. I called this auto body shop to pick my car up on December 12 because the brakes failed and it needed body work. They didn't pick it up until December 19th (the Saturday following). I racked up a couple parking tickets in that week as I was not aware that they would take so long to pick it up. That's where the saga started. Cue to 1.5 months later - I had been calling every week since December 19 to find out what the status was on my car. They seemingly didn't touch it or even start ordering parts until the end of January. They ignored all of my phone calls and emails for a month, and after a while I couldn't even leave a voice mail because their voicemail box was full. Finally, when I heard back from them, they said my car would be ready to pick up on Feburary 6th. On February 5th, I called to triple-confirm that it would be ready the following day. They didn't answer, but hours later sent an email stating that the car wasn't ready yet and that it should be ready the following week, on Tuesday the 14th. The whole week, I called 4 times to confirm that it would be ready on the 14th. No answer, and voicemail box full. However, their online portal said my car would be ready for pickup at 4:37 PM on 2/14, which seemed precise enough to be accurate. I drove all the way to Woburn (45 min drive in rush hour traffic) just to arrive to hear my car wasn't ready, and would need another week minimum. I will add that the person who helped me at the shop that day on the 14th was new, and was brought in seemingly due to their serious management and responsiveness issues. He did appear to care deeply that it had been 2 full months and my car wasn't ready, and subsequently called me 1-2x a day to give me updates the following week. He also arranged to have the car sent to my house when it was ready to save me another trip to Woburn. Finally, I got the car. They delivered it with a dead battery and a completely empty fuel tank (it wasn't empty when I sent it to them in December). The tow company jumped it for me, but I couldn't make it to a gas station with 0 miles in the tank, so my car ended up having to be pushed into its spot. I also discovered that they never fixed the brakes that I explicitly requested they fix. In addition, the unlock button on the driver's side door does not work, and the motor that controls the angle of the rearview mirrors is loose and barely works. Now I have a car with a screwed up door (in worse condition than it originally was), a dead battery (the battery isn't even that old), and still broken brakes. And I'm out $500. I've had it with this place and despite their "best efforts" to resolve my problems, to me, none of it is worth it. Avoid this shop at all costs. ***UPDATE: A few weeks after receiving the car, the driver's side outside door handle literally fell clean off the door when attempting to open the door normally. Additionally, I have found several items that I am certain do not belong to me or anyone I know inside the vehicle, including a large beer glass. I suspect foul play has ensued; DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR TO THIS AUTO BODY SHOP.

Communication was poor. The timeline for repairs was excess. There are small details to the work that was done this is very disappointing. Not to mention, several new scratches to my car that didn’t exist before I dropped my vehicle off and the wax they used to “wash” my car before pick up is clumpy. I now need to pay to get my car professionally detailed to correct.

Worst experience I ever had. Two weeks repair turn me to four months night mare. There is no proper communication on what’s going on with the repair. Always making excuses. After four months finally got the car back with lots of dust in beside the car. They didn’t even bother to just vacuum the car. If you want to get disappointed then choose these shop. Take your car somewhere else.

Honestly impressions matter and when I dedicated to bring my car back to get fixed the owner Paul was professional in every since of the word and matt definitely made a major impression ( in a good way) I would definitely give them a chance because the owner did everything to fix it once he was informed !

I will not recommend to anyone on this shop, you have lost credit from my end

I was very disappointed with the service: 1. My car was painted with completely different color, anyone can see the obvious difference, not sure how they can deliver the car to me ; 2. When I mentioned the color is different, th red owner of the shop said something like “ the car was repaired before and the paint color had issue, this is completely making excuses, when there is mistake, just admit it and try to correct it, I hate people making excuses after marking mistakes; 3. It took very long time to get car repaired; 4. Customer service was poor, no one picks up the call majority of the time.
