12 days after we bought a brand new 2022 Nissan Pathfinder, bad weather came through causing minor damage to my car. It had some scratches and dents, and the roof was going to need to be repainted. We brought it into Schmidt to be fixed where the lady assured me it look brand new (because it was). After 1.5 weeks, the dealership called and said it was done. My husband went to pick it up and noticed some scratches and a dent still in it. They tried to buff it out, but it was too deep so they said it would have to be repainted. We brought it on home since my husband’s truck was also getting repaired with plans to bring it in later to fix dent/scratch. When I got home from work that night, I instantly spot another dent and a dimple in the paint on the strip above my driver’s side door. There are also several lines/indentations along with more dimples and weird swirls on the roof that they painted. Do they not check over or take pride in their work at all? Why would you try to pass this off to customers? So at this point, I absolutely DO NOT want to take my car back to them to paint a side panel on my car. Also, whatever they used to clean my car with was abrasive causing it to leave several scratches behind. If I could leave 0 stars I would, because I would not wish this on anyone. Please do not bring your car here to get worked on. I feel like they did more damage than they fixed. I am so deeply saddened/disappointed by this whole experience.

The lady who did my estimate was very friendly and made me comfortable and made me believe that my car was in good hands, which it clearly wasn’t. The repair shop personnel damaged my car even further which is the complete opposite of what it was supposed to do.
