My contact at Star auto body, was Robert. He was under the misconception that I was going to paint my car myself. After the body work had been done. I repeatedly told him I wanted the entire job done by star. He had informed me that they could not find a matching paint, even though it was painted through APS paint, The original factory color. After the car was sitting for a week, I called and asked about the status. Upon hearing that the paint was not available, I brought him down A half quart of paint I had left over. A week later when I was called to pick up the car, I was charged $250 for the paint and supplies, the same amount as the estimate had, even though I provided the paint. I was asked at least three times how the job would be paid for. I informed Robert that my friend who had hit me had given me a blank check made out to Star. As we were leaving, he came running out and said he cannot except this check, and that we could not leave with the car. Embarrassing me in front of my son, I paid for it with a credit card
