Communication was poor, me as the customer had to call to receive updates. Truck was still full of glass after picking up that we just took care of ourselves as our truck was there for over 3 weeks already. We picked this body shop as it was it was on American Family's preferred program. We were told we would be priority but felt the opposite very much. We were not kept up to date on progress unless calling ourselves, a windshield should not take 3 weeks to come in, if that was the case it would have been faster to get a glass company to come on site. By the time American Family claims realized it was still a week out to get the windshield they could not get first lite there faster. Now if we would have used first lite from the beginning we could have received our truck faster.

The actual repairs were good with no issues. When we picked the truck up after repairs were done (which took almost a month) there was still big shards of glass from the windshield all over the cab. We had to immediately come home and vacuum out the whole truck as there was glass pieces still all over.

A lot of communication that could have been improved. I had to do all of the calling to see about progress of truck and windshield being delivered. I also felt like I had to make sure that the truck was wrapped when it was starting to rain. I was told I would be called multiple times about updates, and I was the one that had to reach out. Called on Thursday wondering if truck would be finished on Friday like we were told, and she said it should be finished Thursday night or Friday morning and that she would call and let me know for sure. I never receive a call, I just showed up Friday to drop off my deductible and prayed that our truck would be outside that evening when my husband was home. Overall, the receptionist was very nice and tried to help but I felt like I had push for updates on progress and timeframe.
