TK Auto Body, Chad, was very nice to work with. The work is exceptional and I appreciate that the car was detailed. Clean and fixed and ready to go. Will recommend. Thanks

My Experience

When I picked up my CR-V my inspection of the repair focused on the previously damaged area. It was not until I got home that I noticed the fit of the new hood and how it mates with the fenders in the vicinities of the headlamp assemblies. To me the new hood does not mate properly with the fenders on either side around the headlamp assemblies, but particularly on the driver’s side. This may be at the widest point of the hood. Obviously, I do not know why or how this happened, but I can envision these two points being sprung (bent outward) during shipping or while handling the hood. I can try to take photos, but it may be hard to capture the defect in a manner you will be able to appreciate. Did your technician notice the defect as he/she mounted and aligned the new hood? A side-by-side comparison of my CR-V and another from the factory would validate of invalidate my observations. I intend to hand wash the CR-V next week which may reveal more. I do not have any plans to be in Rochester again until Tuesday, November 29th. During that trip I would like to stop by and discuss this matter. Please share your thoughts.

I'm disappointed with the outcome. Spending in excess of $2,000 to replace a hood and have it result in "close but not right" wasn't envisioned.
