Jim grew up on a farm near Dodge, Nebraska. During high school, he was employed at Paint-N-Place. Jim received his degree 1979 and worked in repair shops in Lincoln until returning to North Platte in 1981. Twin Rivers Body Shop was established in 1982. As Jim's customer base increased, the business relocated to the present site in 1985. Through the years, additions to the building have included a new Refinish Shop. As a shop owner, Jim actively networks nationally to gain further education and understanding of industry trends, as well as, implement technology
