Ultimate Paint Shop II returned my 11-year old car to me looking like it just came off of the showroom floor. It looks TERRIFIC and I feel great looking at it and driving it.

JR, the general manager, has superior customer service. He is incredibly polite and responsive. JR does a wonderful job explaining what needs to be done (and, after-the-fact, what was done) in detailed, but easy-to-understand terms. On top of all of that, JR is just a great guy. (Of course, being a great guy doesn't fix your car. But see my prior response about the quality of work - they do terrific work!)

Have needed to use UPSII twice since moving here 1 year ago (hit in front end by someone on each car!). They do GREAT work and are super nice/professional to deal with!

For paint on the hood, yes. For PPF / prep, probably not

First things first, the hood paint job and Xpel looks great, it is exactly what I wanted. However, when looking at the overall car, it looks like there are a TON of scratches, swirl marks that were added when it was at the shop. I don’t know how it was washed / prepped, but it does not look like it was done properly. Take a look at the attached pictures for examples of what I’m talking about, there is even some ghosted marks that look like they are from an orbital sander?? I’m going to wash it today/tomorrow to see if some of these aren’t really scratches. I also have bought a TORQ orbital sander for my previous car that I will likely try on these to see if they go away. I’m disappointed that I seem to have taken a bit of a step backwards in terms of the paint when I really thought I was moving in the right direction. I’m not asking for anything at this point, but wanted to document it for you as I’m sure you have other cars getting PPF.
