While having my vehicle, someone or something damaged the windshield enough to eventually cause it to crack all the way across. But there's no way I can prove that, so congratulations, you can talk your way out of any liability... and now instead of a happy customer you now have someone that by word of mouth and business elsewhere will eventually take away more business and reputation than the cost of replacing the windshield. Well done.
