The work looks excellent. However, they told me the job would take 9-10 business days and ended up taking 24 business days. One office employee admitted to me that they had some priority work come in. I would never take another vehicle to them.

After my first accident, I was extremely nervous to get any work done. However, the team at Bernatche Auto Body made this a smooth transition. They were able to get my vehicle in early and inspect damage that was not obvious to the eye. The best part was the weekly updates giving you the status of your vehicle to ensure you’re aware of what’s going on. Extremely grateful for Bernatche and will recommend them in the future.

Two complaints: Initial estimates of the required time were way off base, although the insurance co covered the full period with a rental car. Secondly, when putting the bumper back together, the team neglected to reinstall a small antenna which necessitated a $300 diagnostic fee from the VW dealer and a retrofit. We are still waiting for reimbursement from your firm for that fee. Otherwise, I found the personnel and quality of the vehicle repair to be very satisfactory. Melinda

The mechanics didn't complete the autobody work. There were several missing pieces in the door that was being installed. Because of this we had to bring the truck back two more times and it's very inconvenient to do so (its a 45 minute drive) for us.

The front desk was unfairly frustrated with us, as there was miscommunication about the payment and there was one time where there was a different person at the desk who didn't understand how to take our payment with insurance and the second time the person had to leave abruptly due to an emergency so couldn't take our payment. This is at the fault of the repair shop. We were obviously not trying to avoid payment. They should have done a better job at clearing up their original mistakes and working out the payment in a professional manner.
