Weida Bros. established this location in 1954. In 1982, Tim Deitrich purchased Weida Brothers Auto Collision. Tim elected to keep the name, Weida Brothers. as it has been a recognized name in Upper Dauphin County for over 50 years. Located about 20 miles north of Harrisburg, the bulk of our customer base comes from the surrounding local areas. However, over the last few years we have seen an increase in customers coming from further away including Sunbury, Harrisburg, Duncannon & Mechanicsburg. We are a aluminum certified welding shop based to fit your needs ranging from fender bender job to a tragic loss. The actual repairs on my car were excellent, and I was impressed with that part of the experience. However, the office staff's communication was very poor. Despite requesting a rental several times, I was never set up with one. My estimate did not say how many days my car would be kept for the repairs but they ended up keeping it for 4 days. No phone call to update me on what was going on. It was me consistently contacting the office to see what was happening. There was also a lot of confusion between the office staff and the company paying for the repairs. I was told they couldn't get a hold of them, but it turned out they'd already spoken and arranged payment. That miscommunication meant I spent a lot of unnecessary time contacting both places. While I appreciate the quality of the technical work, the lack of professional communication and administrative follow-through made the overall process much more stressful than it needed to be.
