Our Story started in the fall of 1989, a dream was born. Mr. Sung Kim a Korean American started a one man shop in the heart of Maywood, Illinois. For over two decades we have grown into a full size collision center. We perform not only body work but all aspects of a vehicle repair from small mechanical to big heavy collision restoration. West Suburban Auto is a family owned business. We dedicate our time and services to every client like if they were our only one. Worst experience I’ve ever had in my life no exaggeration. Took my car there for repairs and it’s no better now. The replaced they rear hatch and now it’s extremely crooked. They painted over dust and dirt. There’s paint drips on the inside. They broke pieces and instead of replacing them they were glued back onto the car. I will never return and I will write a google review.

One of the worst experiences of my life no exaggeration. Took my 2020 Tiguan to have the rear hatch replaced and took them a month and when I go to pick up the door is crooked and they broke pieces on the interior. Also they forgot to paint the damage on the quarter panel and attempted to paint it with a brush in front of me in the parking lot. Returned to have hinges replaced to fix the still crooked door. When I picked it up the door was still crooked they painted over dirt and dust and instead of replacing the pieces they broke they glued them back on. Already going through State Farm to go to another shop. Will never step foot in west suburban again and I intend to write a google review.

One of the worst experiences of my life no exaggeration. Took my 2020 Tiguan in to have the rear door hatch replaced. After returning 3 times the door is still crooked. They painted over dirt and dust on the door and they broke pieces and after saying they’d replace then they just glued them back on and figured that was good enough that’s literally what the manager told me. They also attempted to touch up damage they forgot to repair with a paint brush. Horrible shop. Reported all issued to State Farm and will be going to another shop to fix what you messed up.

This is the second time I’ve brought my car in for repairs at West Suburban and they’ve done a great job both times! John and Lynn are the best!! Everyone is so friendly and great with communication and updates on your repairs. Definitely recommend!
