The repair is fine, but the mean receptionist ruined the experience. The whole process went for 3 weeks because more internal damage was discovered after drop off. So more rounds with insurance approval were required. By the end of the third week, they said the repair is wrapping up and awaiting for final insurance approval. After I called my insurance to confirm the approval will be worked on soon and would be ready that afternoon, I called the shop to ask about picking up that afternoon. When I ask the receptionist Stephanie whether I would be able to pick it up that afternoon, she responded “Are you going to pay the difference of $XXXXX.XX?”. Well that didn’t answer the question, did it? So I asked more follow up questions trying to understand what needs to happen, to see if those can happen in time for pick up that day. But all her responses were “We need to receive the payment first”. She kept saying “the $XXXXX.XX need to be paid first” over and over again (yeah, duh). It’s not until I asked very specifically that “if you get the proof of payment later this afternoon, will I be able to pick it up today” when she told me “no, because the we had a noon cut off”. Well then why are you not telling me that in the first place? That’s the core of what I was asking. Frustrated, I asked her exactly that question, that’s when she started repeating what she had already told me that they need to get the confirmation of payment first and blah blah blah. Haven heard enough of that in just one call, I pointed out to her that repeating those info was not helpful. Yet she just kept going, talking over me. At that point I’m well fed up with that conversation and so I followed her example and repeated what I have said over she talking. She continued to repeat that statement, more aggressively. Then, she just hung up on me. Then I realized, at no point in that conversation the receptionist was trying to understand my concerns, let alone help me on them. All she cared about was covering her ass. Well, just as that meme says, you were not wrong, you were just an asshole. A robot answering agent would have done as well, if not better. Thanks for the cooperation with the insurance agent and the estimator Justin, we were able to get all things sorted out and I managed to pick up the vehicle by the end of that day. This could have been a decent experience if it were not for that unhelpful receptionist. I was unfortunate to decided to talk to the receptionist instead of to the estimator directly. It’s funny because when I was there to pick up the car, the lady did the same thing again. When I asked her for clarification, she just repeat the phrase over and over again, like a recording machine. She really didn’t care about my question. She might as well just told me to shut up. This shop seems to be a decent one with capable technicians, but it’s beyond me that why they let such a mean receptionist representing their image.

Accurate was great! Really thorough repair work on a car that is hard to get parts for and not many shops have Accurate's experience with. A job well done!

1. not very transparent about charges 2. More work done than expected /needed per insurance. 3. Very very expensive billing rate. At this rate you will beat the top billing rate of software/AI engineers.

While the initial appointment was good and the repairs appeared to be done alright, there seems to be $1200 excess amount charged that insurance did not approve. I am very disappointed with how the whole process was handled with accurate auto body and insurance while not informing about the un-approved charges.

while initial appointment went well, once the repairs were done they failed to do a proper follow up with insurance nor customer.

The only downside I experienced was that there was a long lead time to getting an estimate. I waited a little over a month between calling in and the actual appointment.
