Acheson Auto Works is a family-owned automobile and light truck repair facility founded in 1947 by Sam Acheson and his wife, Mary Frances. For over 70 years we've performed a wide range of repairs including collision repair refinishing, preventive maintenance, engine repair, general servicing, heating and AC repair, diagnostics & troubleshooting and various flushes including transmission, coolant, brake, power steering and fuel induction. We do just about all types of repair! Our goal is to offer the best service we can at a reasonable price in a timely fashion to get our Clients back on the road. Sam & Mary's old-fashioned, business principles are still applied to all transactions today. They are; 1.) Under promise-Over deliver 2.) Do what we say we're going to do 3.) Excellent work from the clear, restored headlights, thorough restoration from tar damage, careful attention to the other body, bumper and back headlight repairs. I enjoyed meeting one of the team members when my truck was brought around. Thank you very much!

I don’t know that I would recommend Acheson, but if I did, I would let the person know of our experience with the lack of communication.

We had an appointment on Monday, 7/15/19, to fix our car. We dropped our car off the night before our appointment, so it would be there first thing the next day. The repair should have taken one to two days, but the repairs were not completed until Tuesday, 7/23/19. The entire time our car was there, we never received a call from anyone to let us know that there was a delay. We are the ones that had to make calls to Acheson, in order to find out that there was a delay in the repair and the reason for the delay. If Acheson would have been proactive in calling us to keep us informed on the delay, we would have been understanding about the delay, but to get radio silence from Acheson, is not good customer service.
