Acheson Auto Works is a family-owned automobile and light truck repair facility founded in 1947 by Sam Acheson and his wife, Mary Frances. For over 70 years we've performed a wide range of repairs including collision repair refinishing, preventive maintenance, engine repair, general servicing, heating and AC repair, diagnostics & troubleshooting and various flushes including transmission, coolant, brake, power steering and fuel induction. We do just about all types of repair! Our goal is to offer the best service we can at a reasonable price in a timely fashion to get our Clients back on the road. Sam & Mary's old-fashioned, business principles are still applied to all transactions today. They are; 1.) Under promise-Over deliver 2.) Do what we say we're going to do 3.) The repair was good but someone must have drained the battery in my daughters car- left something on- I just bought that car and had a new battery put in 3 months ago and had to have it replaced yesterday for $200- someone at your place told Her” You may wanna check the battery” When she picked it up which was very suspicious- She is a med Student in desmoines and a $200 battery is not something she can afford - just disappointed that no one said something

This is a second response. Can’t remember quite what we said the first time, but we are very happy with the services. There were circumstances beyond your control, so not the normal timelines. However, we know Acheson did all they could to stay on task and deliver the car as soon as humanly possible.

Timing was a bit long for the repair with some electronic miscommunication sent regarding the completion date…which caused us to take an extra trip and then scramble for the remaining days as we were anticipating having the van.
