I had my estimate scheduled on 4/9/26 and was told I would receive a call to schedule the repair. No one got back to me. I called again 4/15/26 and a guy answered the phone telling me I had to ask State Farm about the estimate. Then I called State Farm, and was told since AFD is one of their contract auto shops, that I did not need to call State Farm regarding a pending approval. I called AFD back on 4/21/26 guy answered (sounded like the same guy), I told him Dylan did my estimate. He said Dylan would call me back. No one got back to me. Another week went by, I call AFD 4/30/26 and it sounded like the same guy answered again. He told me again that State Farm needed to approve, I relayed what State Farm told me. He said Dylan would get back to me again. 5/1/26 I called and a woman answered and was able to finally schedule me in on May 11. I was told the repair would take a week. After a week, I called AFD to ask about my vehicle, I was told it was ready. I wonder if I did not call, how long it would have taken for me to be informed that my car was ready. The repair itself was great. No problems with it. It was honestly a terrible process to get scheduled at all. The whole process took 5.5 weeks
