Austin Body Works always does an excellent job regardless of the damage or type of work they are performing. Carey, Brian and all the staff are wonderful to work with. I won’t be taking my family vehicles anywhere else. I highly recommend anyone take their vehicle here for body repair.

First of all, the front desk lady was super friendly and nice every time I called. I belive her name is Carrie. The other gentlemen I spoke to when she was away was also very nice. Communication could use improvement here, as with my experience, it costed me time and money. The first date was pushed back as the door that was ordered to replace the old one was not a good fit. I called and found that out. The next pickup date was aimed for Monday, 5/5/25. I called that day, before picking my vehicle up and was told it would take a little longer. I've been calling the agent handling my case at Statefarm and she said they're kn close communication with ABW (kyle). No problem. Thursday it would be ready. Austin Body Works communicates with ABW but I have work that evening and work all day next day. I had to pay Statefarm the extra day. I arrive Saturday to pick up my car. I have to bounce back and forth around and outside of Austin to drop off my help for picking the car up, dropping the rental, and driving my friend back home. I test out all the electronics and controls in the car and buttons on the driver side door (the door that was replaced) do not work. The windows do but the seat setting buttons and the fold in mirror buttons do not. I ask Carrie to take a note as I am on a tight schedule. She insists I give 5 min, and asks to drive the car back around. I give her the keys. I make a call to pass the time. 20 min goes by (I looked at the call time). I see the man working on my car took off the door. "Hey Carrie, I really gotta go. I dont want to rush the workers. I'll just come back. " Five more minutes shes insists, they're just clicking the door panel back on. Ten minutes goes by. "I'm sorry, I really have to go. I'll come back" No, its ready, she insists. Theyre just cleaning out their things. I walk up to the car and the man is still on the iPad checking systems. I stand their until he finishes. 40min and my friend and have to get back to where we need to be and no longer have time to drop the rental off. I pay for two days and barely made it to work on time. If the car were ready to go and the shop team had asked what time for pickup would be convenient, I would not have to pay for two days of a rental. Great attitudes and friendly staff. Please help the customer out with coordinating. I made it very clear after noticing what was notnchecked that I wouldn't mind leaving the vehicle and ended up having to rent the Hertz car for another day and killed 40min of my friend's time who just wanted to help. Have a great week yall. Just opportunities for the future.
