ABOUT BAY CUSTOM AUTO Bay Custom Auto has been operating since 1981 in the collision repair business. Starting as a mechanical repair business in 1971. A company that is based on both integrity and quality. As one of the oldest remaining independent repair shops in the Hampton Roads area, the auto body shop has grown and improved every year. Our quality and determination for customer satisfaction is one of the main reasons for our success. I was very pleased. The customer service, the time it took to repair, and the quality of the work done was all a 5 out of 5. They even called the rental car company to pick me up for my rental. A great experience and I strongly recommend them.

There are few mistakes that I have seen on my car that I would like to be fixed, the paint on the bumper do not completely match to the rest of the car, I think the bumper is not completely flushed and there’s some overspray paint on my grill that needs to come off I just recognized those things today and I wanted to know can I bring my car back to you guys to get it fixed

I did not receive any updates the first week it was in the shop. Eventhough, I was asked when I dropped off the car if I would like to receive text updates. I called the beginning of the second week and mentioned I had not received any updates. The receptionist told me my car was being reassembled and should be ready the next day. The next day I called late in the day as I had not heard anything. I spoke to my service technician. He sent me an apology text and said said he would provide me updates including the following day. The next day I had not heard from him so I reached out 30 mins before they close. He responded via text. After my second mention on a lack of updates he finally improved in the final days before pick up. I will say the receptionist were always friendly and accommodating and ensured my rental was extended each time.

I can’t say enough great things about Bay Custom Auto! From start to finish, their communication was top-notch. It was a nightmare dealing with the delays and back-and-forth, but Bay Custom Auto stayed on top of it, advocating for me and making sure everything got handled properly. They were patient, professional, and persistent in getting the insurance company to finally pay for the repairs. The quality of their work is outstanding, and my car looks as good as new!
