I would recommend caliber collision but not caliber glass

The actual vehicle repair looks great! However, I paid out of pocket to get the chip in my glass repaired and it’s still there. After reporting that I didn’t believe it had been done, I was not contacted, but instead received a delayed confirmation that it had been completed weeks prior. I did not receive this confirmation when it was completed, but only after saying I didn’t believe it was completed. I had safelite repair on a previous chip in a different vehicle and there was no evidence the chip was ever there. Does caliber glass not use the same technology?

The people at the office were very nice, and the man in charge of my repair did a great job at contacting me to keep me updated on the repair. The glass repair, however, gave zero update. I will add that the outsourced scheduling process has some hiccups. I was called to schedule at a caliber nearby and when I showed up they didn’t have it on file. The call center never sent it over. Then after dropping off my vehicle, I got another call trying to schedule the repair.

Jason was great during the entire process. We had a third party payer, did not want to use insurance, and the parts were ordered ahead of time to minimize wait time. Dropped off the car on a Thursday and it was complete the following Tuesday. Great experience from start to finish!
