My Experience - 0.0/5.0 -
The quality of the repair work on my vehicle was very good. Unfortunately, the overall experience was severely undermined by poor organization, excessive delays, and a lack of basic communication. From the time I dropped off my car, I was given four different completion dates. Each time the deadline passed, I only learned of the delay because I called to ask for an update. At no point did anyone proactively contact me to explain the changes in timeline. Instead, when I reached out, I was met with vague responses such as “it’s not ready,” “we’re short-staffed,” or “the paint technician is out,” with no follow-up or accountability. It is unacceptable that a vehicle involved in a minor fender bender took over 30 days to complete—especially given the repeated assurances that this timeframe would be more than sufficient. The lack of communication, transparency, and even a simple apology made the situation unnecessarily frustrating. As a result of these delays, I am now responsible for paying out of pocket for a rental car, despite my insurance covering a full 30 days, which I was told would be adequate. While the final repair itself met expectations, the process leading up to it did not. The handling of this repair demonstrated a clear disregard for customer time, communication, and responsibility. It is evident the shop is used to getting business through insurance claims which keeps them busy, however it seems to be VERY clear that the lack of customer service is a result of them not necessarily needing good word of mouth. I did communicate frustration with progressive, my insurance since they recommended the shop. They will be reaching out directly and addressing the poor management of their clients. At the end of the day, it’s all a service, that I pay for. A simple apology or recognition of the overdue dates would have made SUCH a difference. I will no longer use caliber moving forward.

I will NEVER return to this shop nor would I recommend anyone use them the way they are operating now. I have also contacted my insurance explaining my dissatisfaction for a shop on their preferred list.

I guess the holidays are bad time to have your vehicle in for minor repairs. 5 weeks is a stretch for a bumper when two weeks were qouted. But, the truck looks great though.

Customer service is as good. The only recommendation I have is it to let the customer see the work that has been completed on their vehicle before you collect the deductible and have them sign all the paperwork. What if I wasn’t satisfied with the repairs?
