Geico estimated the repair at 4 days, the car was kept for nearly 5 weeks. Only received 3-4 phone calls during the process to update me, I had to call and get the standard response "I was just about to call you", No follow up calls about progress, no alternative scenarios to backorder parts. After 5 weeks went to pick up the car, parts were still broken only to be told they are also on backorder but I was never notified before the pickup day, also parts were still mis-aligned on the car prompting a return visit. No communication, No follow up with the customer, the customer shouldnt have to point out still broken pieces on the car on pickup without being told about them prior. I used all my rental allowance for the year on a 4 day repair. I would have even been fine with a week or even 2 with communication but 2 days shy of 5 weeks is unacceptable.

The staff I interacted with were professional, courteous, and helpful. Unfortunately, I was called to pick up my car before it was ready, which resulted in me returning my insurance-paid rental several days before my car was ready. This was not the fault of my repair coordinator. Another person (who was not handling my repair) had instructed the front office to call me to pick up my car.
