I rarely leave negative reviews, but after nearly two months of dealing with this repair, I feel other customers should know about my experience. Communication was extremely poor throughout the entire process. I constantly had to follow up for updates, and long periods would go by without hearing anything. Before dropping off my vehicle, I specifically asked if they could touch up a few paint chips on the front of the car while it was already being repainted. I was told, "Of course, we do that all the time." When the vehicle was supposedly finished, none of those items had been addressed. I also specifically requested that my original headlights be saved because they still had value and I planned to keep or resell them. Instead, they were returned as core parts without my authorization. Had I been told a core return was required, I would have gladly paid the core charge to keep my property. When I first went to pick up the vehicle, the lower front spoiler had simply been trimmed instead of properly replaced. I personally located the correct aftermarket replacement part for them on June 4, yet after that there was very little communication for over a month. I understand insurance companies have to approve repairs, and I don't fault CARSTAR for following those approvals. What I do fault them for is the lack of communication, making promises that weren't kept, returning my parts without discussing it with me first, and allowing a repair to drag on for almost two months. If your vehicle is here, be prepared to stay involved and follow up frequently. My experience was far from what I expected.

I HAVE BEEN SOOOO IMPRESSED WITH THE HELPFULNESS OF THE EMPLOYEES AND THE WORK DONE ON MY CAR. SOMEONE HAD HIT MY SIDE MIRROR WITH A CAMERA INSIDE AND LEFT NO NOTE AS TO WHAT HAD HAPPENED . I'M WITH AMERICAN FAMILY INSURANCE AND IT WAS WITH THEIR HELP AND ADVICE TO USE CARSTAR. WHAT A WONDERFUL ENCOUNTER I HAD WITH BOTH GROUPS. I'VE EVEN GOTTEN WONDERFUL REMARKS AS TO THE CLEANLYNESS OF THE OUTSIDE OF MY CAR. I PAID NO EXTRA FOR THE BEAUTIFUL LOOK AND REPAIR OF MY CAR. SMILES GOLORE FROM THE EMPLOYEES. I WILL ALWAYS GO TO CARSTAR FOR ANY FUTURE NEEDS OF MYO CAR.
