Carstar in Ellington is the number #1 auto body repair shop. I worked with Paul, his initial introduction was professional and informative on review of the body damage. His follow-up phone call after the first visit was a surprised, because most businesses seem to drop any personal connection. The work was performed by one of his technicians and was done to perfection. This place is highly recommended. First visit to this shop!

They did a decent job of getting a replacement fender and painting it the stock color. My only issue is a few years ago I had the same previous fender backed into and the body shop up in WA state replaced it and painted it the stock color. The difference is if you’re not really looking closely and I can tell there’s a wider gap between the hood and the fender. Versus the opposite side that is still stock. The last body shop was able to replace and calibrate my fender and hood to look like stock spacing. Whereas Carstar got pretty close but if you’re looking you can tell that my right fender/bumper area has been hit and worked on.

The repair looks fine. I am concerned that throughout the process there was eight times that I was told that the vehicle would be ready and it was delayed again. I was not made aware of these delays unless I called on the expected day of delivery. This makes me question the quality of the repairs. For sure, approach to customer service needs to changed
