It is a preferred repair shop of my insurance company. Unfortunately my insurance company made it difficult to use a shop of my choice

My vehicle just needed a front bumper replaced along with a fog lamp that was broken when I hit a deer. I expected a 3-4 day repair. 1st day tear down and inspection for hidden damage, prep the replacement bumper, and order parts of hidden damage. Day 2. Verify all parts are in and ensure they fit, paint the bumper. Day 3: install bumper and parts that need replaced, verify everything removed works as it should and get vehicle ready for customer to pick up. I’m not sure if the delay, but it took 2 weeks for the tear down and had to order the light that was broken that wasn’t on the initial estimate. Finally got my vehicle on Friday of the 3rd week. Repairs were good. Length of time to do them was unsatisfactory

Shop must’ve been busy because even when I called and asked questions about the status of the repairs that needed to be checked with the repair person to get an answer, I never received a call back. If there was a known delay due to vacations, or other reasons, I wish I would’ve been told so I could reschedule when I brought my vehicle in for repairs so I wouldn’t rack up a large rental bill

The shop did an excellent job on the repairs. There are a lot of grease hand prints on the headliner near the door parts that were assembled.
