Would probably have a colleague try a different Tesla shop. My 2020 received all 2021 parts and i didnt know any of these until pick up, so obviously, there was alot of unexpected changes w/ the car.

Good e-Mail updates, good follow up until the end. My car had chrome parts as it was a 2020, Tesla sent 2021 parts (i did not know this until pick up of the car). The front windscreen did not properly line up w/ roof. The Side Cameras were now black instead of Chrome. upon asking if we can just put the old Cameras, the answer i received was "they are one time used double sided tape." Of course this was a LIE!. these cameras snap on/clamp on and can be pushed from the back. Once i told htis to the rep he knew the jig is up and said "it actually is a hook i apologize but they do break." well then, i was lied upon then now he is just making excuses. Pride is suppose to fix it. anyways, i was told id have to go to another shop to get these black parts chromed. atleast i was referred. but more stress, as its more insurance back and forth instead of one stop shop. the Frunk was also a different size as its the 2021.
