I reviewed the original quote and approved. More than a week later I received a note that repairs were complete with almost 4x increase in cost. No detail of what was repaired was offered. Very disappointing.

Initially I was surprised by the cost increase over the the original effort. the additional damage that was uncovered during the repair and the quality repair largely mitigated that concern. It would have been better to have been informed at the time of detection of the needed extra repair.
