We were rearended by an Amazon 18-wheeler which turned out to be uninsured. We tried to get Amazon to pay for the damages but they just washed their hands claiming that they are not legally responsible because of the type of contract they have with the trucking company. Long story short, we had to claim the repair through our insurance. I had a great conversation with the owner, Chris, before bringing in our vehicle. Our goal was to get the damages repaired and to avoid getting it declared a total loss. And Chris delivered! We had the liftgate fixed although we will have to bring it back to get the rest of the repair done to the rear bumper. We requested to get our vehicle over the weekend and the following week and they were flexible about it. The repair was delayed and could have been communicated proactively without me following up on it, but everything else went fine and as promised. We still need to get the bumper repaired but we are confident this will come out great, too. Thanks to Chris, Sheila, and Jason!
