I required repainting of the front bumper and right rear panel ——- also asked to repaint the truck cap (change the color). I attempted do the repairs myself using an online touchup kit. Needless to say that was a mistake —- I made it worst, to include ordering the wrong color paint kit. I obtained 3 estimates to complete the repairs and repainting of the truck body and the cap. The estimate from Dave’s Autobody was $2,243, +/- $400 below the other 2 estimates. Dave’s Autobody put more effort into defining the cost to repaint the cap than the other 2. It appeared that the other 2 winged-it, i.e. just through a number at it. Another reason I selected Dave’s Autobody was that they offered a loaner while repairs were being completed . This saved me the cost of a UBER ride back and forth from my home. Repairs were completed on time (estimated 3 days) with the quality of the work excellent. I could not tell where I had attempted to make the repairs myself —- it looked like new! The best reason for using Dave’s Autobody was that the final cost (invoice) totaled $1,663, or 26% below the original estimate. In my 57 years driving, which included numerous trips tp the autobody shop (minoring mar repairs), I have never had a shop that didnot charge me the original estimate cost. The 26% reduction, from the original estimate, was a surprise. Dave’s Autobody could have charged me the original estimate total —- I would been none the wiser!! The honesty they portrayed was GREATLY APPRECIATED —- Thank you Dave’s Autobody.
