My car was in the shop for fully a month. During this time I was not given meaningful status updates that told me specifically what was happening. I received nothing in writing, not by email, text or paper until the very end of the process when I demanded it. The one text update I received was at the very end and came two days after I requested it. A date for completion was not given at first and when it finally was given, it was incorrect. I was notified of the delay at the very end of the day before I was supposed to pick up my truck.
