Femal’s Service was started in 1946 by Harry Femal as a service station and towing company, located on Richmond Street in Appleton’s North side. In 1982, the business would eventually expand and move to Northland Avenue in Appleton. Harry’s four sons joined the business with Ron and Erik focusing on towing while Bob and Rick would dedicate themselves to auto body work. In 2012, Rick retired and Bob’s son Scott purchased the business and became a co-owner with his dad. Currently, Scott is the sole owner after his father Bob retired in May 2017.

Scott Femal, if you did the work on my 2016 Chrysler van, it's beyond a 10! But I especially want to commend Ken Adams (if I have his name right) who greets, assesses the problem/situation, does all the contact work with my insurance company when applicable, handles the total customer service on the front end and knows your name. I have had the pleasure of dealing with a true customer service person that one does not find so much anymore these days. He's on top of things, answers questions correctly, and gives the feeling you're really being taken care of and are his top priority when you come into Femal's. He even hands you the key to a loaner car for the duration of work being done on your vehicle at no cost! Gas tank refill is the best "free" deal loaner car one can ever ask for. And then when you forget to take your garage door opener off the visor when returning the loaner (even after he's asked to be sure you have all your belongings out of the loaner!), he has gone and retrieved the object, comes out of the shop to hand it to you upon your return for it! NOT your usual kind of service at all. Great customer service.
