I was told that this damage to the steering wheel "would have happened anyway" which is an insane thing to say, given the engine is going to eventually break. That it happened while in the repair means you're liable for it ...

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the peeling/separation of the steering wheel material on your Tesla Model 3. We do want to clarify that this issue was unrelated to the repair performed by our shop. The vehicle was brought to us for front bumper repairs, and the steering wheel was not part of the repair, nor was it involved in or affected by the work we performed. Additionally, Tesla has issued Service Bulletin SB-23-32-003 addressing steering-wheel material separation on certain 2020–2023 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles. Tesla's bulletin identifies this as a condition involving the steering-wheel covering and provides a procedure for steering-wheel replacement when the condition is present. We understand that vehicle issues can be frustrating, but we want to make sure the information in the review accurately reflects the work performed by our shop. The steering-wheel issue was unrelated to the front bumper repair completed by us.

Repairs and customer service are 10/10. Treatment of my vehicle while in their care? 5/10 at best, if not less. Very unhappy with the stench and visor stains. But maybe it's a one off situation, and someone made errors without thinking. Its possible this isn't how things are regularly, so I will give them the benefit of the doubt.

The repairs to the outside of the car where the damage occurred look beautiful. That part was done perfectly. The reason I am giving a less than 10 rating is because the interior of my car was not returned to me in the same condition in which I handed over my car to Fix Auto. Two issues: 1. A stench that literally took 1 week to dissipate. I sprayed deoderizer all over the interior two separate times, and drove with the windows open every day. That was the only way I could help get the smell to calm down. And even now, there is still an unpleasant odor that I cannot explain, that was not there prior to Fix Auto handling my car. 2. Stains on the driver side visor. It is evident that someone touched the visor with ink or something on their hands bc there are multiple purple blotches on the left side of the driver's visor specifically. I have tried to remove them but they are indelible. If it weren't for the mistreatment of the interior of my vehicle, I would rate Fix Auto repairs as a solid 10. And as I said before, the repairs on the outside are beautiful, so there are no issues there. Lastly, the lady at the front desk, Stephanie, was absolutely lovely. I really enjoyed my interactions with her. She's very friendly and personable, and she is another great reason to use Fix Auto; she will help take care of everything, and treat you really nicely in doing so.

Stephanie was amazing, hands down. Wonderful receptionist. Friendly, inviting, and helped make me feel at ease with everything. Mr. Marquez was personable via text messages, but I didn't actually meet him in real life, so I can't say much more about him.

I’m sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied with your experience. I would like to clarify what happened, as I believe there may have been a misunderstanding regarding the situation. After completing your vehicle service and delivering the vehicle to you, I asked if you had any questions or concerns regarding the repair. At that time, there were no questions or concerns raised about the work that had been completed. You then asked for assistance with removing a cup holder from the vehicle. I explained that I was already assisting another customer with their estimate and asked if you could please give me a couple of minutes so I could finish explaining the estimate to that customer. My intention was to return and assist you as soon as I had completed that portion of the appointment. I also want to clarify that I did not leave you outside or make you wait in the heat. You were seated inside your vehicle while I briefly attended to the customer whose appointment I was already handling. The cup holder removal was also unrelated to the repair work that had been performed on your vehicle. I always do my best to assist my customers, but I also need to be respectful of scheduled appointments and the customers I am currently helping. I understand that this may not have been the experience you expected, and I’m sorry if my actions came across as though I was unwilling to help. That was not my intention. My goal was simply to complete the appointment I was already assisting and then give your request the attention it deserved. Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate the opportunity to clarify the situation and hope this provides a better understanding of what occurred.
