Hello, I am writing to express my disappointment with the condition of my vehicle when it was returned to me following recent body work. While I do acknowledge that the body repairs themselves were completed properly, I was very surprised by the overall condition of my car upon pickup especially given the total cost of just over $7,000. There was still visible dust and tree sap left on the exterior, and no effort appeared to have been made to clean the vehicle. In my past experiences with auto body service, returning the car clean has been a standard expectation. More concerning, my Tesla was returned to me with only 18% battery life. This left me unable to make it home without immediately stopping to charge, which was both inconvenient and stressful. I believe returning an electric vehicle with such a low charge falls below reasonable service standards. Overall, it felt as though only the bare minimum was done beyond the required body repair, which was disappointing given the cost and expectations of professional service. The overall experience far exceeded my expectations. David was courteous and thorough. He walked me through my repair step by step, answered my questions, and sent me a text everyday about the status of my repair. I’d never been in an accident before so Fix Auto, and especially David, set the bar very high for the level of service I should expect in any future repairs. David helped me feel confident and well taken care of. This level of professionalism is rare in the US.
