They got it in as soon as possible they ordered the correct parts they did the repairit looks like it just came out of a factory they did a such a great job and the paint matches perfect and they did a great job they took me to arcade to get on the bus to take it home I brought the bus up to Arcata and they picked me up to get my car also was really nice they had a guy working there from Rio Dell I could have dropped my car off at 5ish and he going to give him a ride all the way home and then on the day to pick it up he would have picked me up at 8:00 and brought me to the car the service 150%

Clear coat was leaking and formed a clear bubble that dried on the bumper. Will have to take back to the shop to have this fixed.

I would strongly recommend a better process for coordinating rental car pick-ups, especially during Covid. Because cell service wasn’t available at your location I was asked by Heidi to use her office phone to provide my credit card number, expiration date, home address and email in a small lobby filled with at least five people within easy earshot, both staff and customers. About halfway through I started feeling really uncomfortable, both about the privacy of my information and using a strangers telephone next to my face. I let Heidi know and she offered me the back office, which she followed me into even though she couldn’t maintain even 3ft of distance, so I had to be the one to exit the room and wait til she was done. It was a mess, and it seemed like she was just shooting from the hip when I brought it to her attention, even though she said that’s the way things are done with rental car pick-ups. I hope that Fred’s has Covid plans in place to keep people safe, if so they need to be amended to capture this situation which sounds like a common situation for the business. At the same time I would suggest giving customers a place to provide sensitive financial information over the phone as well. Heidi was great, there was just obviously no plan in place to mitigate those two huge customer safety issues.
