(Dent in door)Was told it would take about 3 days to fix, if longer I would be notified. Dropped the car off on a Monday and didn't hear anything so Thursday I called and they said they were waiting on panels. So it would be done Monday. I called Monday to see what time I could pick it up. They replied around 4 because it was sent to cleaning. I had scheduled to bring my car to my original fix it shop for brakes to be fixed. So it was cutting it close. Shortly after I got off the phone with the dealership they called me back and said my car was ready. Went and picked it up. Started driving away and my door open symbol on the dash was on. So I opened and closed it again. Still didn't shut. Then I slammed it to shut. Decided to go out of the car and investigate a little further and it didn't even have the chrome under my windows lined up from the front door to the back door. Wasn't even out of the dealership parking lot so I went back in to have them look again. Was originally told it could be because of a new seal as to why it wouldn't shut normal. Then after they looked into it they said they can fix it but would take half a day to do. So I said I'd be back tomorrow to get it. They did call me in the morning when it was done. And when I went and got it, it was a lot better. They just didn't have it. Cleaned this time because there was dust/powder looking stuff on the inside of my car. The people were nice but I did expect better service for how much it cost my insurance to fix my door. They should have noticed it before telling me it was ready to go the first time. Instead it was a waste of time, gas and having to have my dad help haul me and my 3 kids in car seats around. Also, I had to reschedule getting my brakes done. Again people were nice but the service sucked.

Discovered when I got it home, and to be drive a little. One, the car was not cleaned up wiped down vacuumed as discussed and also and notice when we drove it there was still some issues. Do no believe it was driven to see if all worked. As easy as it seemed to pull to the right.

Customer Service

My insurer offers two shops for expedited service and repairs in Bay City. I have used the one ther dealership and waited twice as long for a single vehicle with similar light damage, with about half the communication. I will let my insurer know of this. We are pleased with Garber and glad to have this option. Thank You!

Just a super job with both Vans. Looks like new.

Customer Service

Kerrigan moved on these two jobs fast and kept me informed.

I am not satisfied and I would not return. I was quite clear in my description of the damage caused to my vehicle after hitting a deer two days after Christmas. I discussed the pushed back radiator, and the check engine light that had come on. I had my own photos. I was assured it would all be taken care of. The fact that it took over a month to get my vehicle started on, is actually a non issue for me. I was happy with my loaner vehicle once repairs started. After a few weeks, on a Friday, I was told my truck was done and to come get it. Pulling in the lot, 30ft from my vehicle, I immediately noticed that a lower piece of trim was still cracked and broken. I went inside, asked why it wasn't repaired? Was apologized to and told it was accidentally overlooked. So I left without my truck. Got a call on Monday afternoon it was done again. Went to get it. First looked it over and saw the radiator is still slightly pushed back, or rather the trim piece are at least not clipped together...still has a gap. I point this out and was told , oh those don't clip, that's how it looks, and that he had never seen it pushed back when it first came in... I have my own photos. Anyway, I had to be back to work shortly so I asked if I could return if I had problems or if I was on my own if I left. Was assured I'd have support. Went to leave and see my check engine light is still on. I go back in, get told, oh we just forgot to clear the code...they cleared it and said I was all set. The Light came back on 30 seconds after leaving. I called back and said I would be bringing it back the next day. I did. Almost immediately I was met with talk of not being sure what the check engine light would have to do with the repair work.. I barked that, no, this was a clear issue the day I brought it in and was told it would be looked at and taken care of by the repair side of the shop. Garber Bay City couldnt figure this code out so they ended up having to send me to Garber Linwood, who easily found a necessary sensor completely missing in the bumper, but it took 3 hours of another day to get finished. Now, the following week Garber Linwood says they have not gotten paid for their work as was agreed by Garber Bay City. So I now have my truck back, but with the obvious defect under the hood that it was in an accident, due to the gap and unclipped plastic pieces around the radiator. So No. Despite trying to be accommodating with an extra dose of empathy knowing that things sometimes happen....I would not return.

Customer Service

Service writer was pretty friendly. I liked him. But after, alluding that maybe the engine light wasn't accident related, and that the radiator clips are never clipped... I can't recommend

Repairs were quick. Very pleased with the timeline. The quality of work was not so great. Body alignment is off and the replacement head lamp is not the same as the original. Now we have two different “color” headlights that we will need fix on our own.

Customer Service

Very nice and answered questions during the process.

The repair was fine. I was shocked that after bringing nearly $8,000.00 of work to Garber, I was charged $40 for a valve stem replacement. I could have taken my Chevrolet truck anywhere for repair but I chose Garber, based on recommendations from friends. Unfortunately I will not make the same recommendations to my friends and family. When all seems equal, it is the small things that can make the critical impact.

The finished work on my truck looks great. One loose cover over the rear view mirror, but this is minor. Quick turnaround. Extremely courteous, particularly Kara. Thanks

Very pleased with the work. The loaner vehicle was a large pickup truck. That was a bit hard to park but a very nice loaner. Staff kept me updated.
