Body work and mechanical service was overall good (even though it took a month), however, there was a major issue I don’t feel was fixed that I mentioned the day I brought my vehicle in and was told only on the day of pick up they weren’t positive it was from my hit and run accident and would not be repaired or a claim made. This was after I was forced to pay $1200 for a tie rod and ball joint that jar had to be repaired from what they told me was preexisting wear and tear and couldn’t be aligned until I fixed these. My car was hit directly, broad sided and drove up on while parked in a parking lot. When I chose Hagen to bring it to in order to have repairs done (I had several dealerships to choose from), I explicitly said my steering wheel was wobbly and jerky and the alignment seemed off-besides the physical damage it seemed to be the only thing I noticed besides being told a bolt was missing from my sway bar. This was stated as I dropped it off and I assumed the alignment would remedy it. It did not. Upon returning home with my vehicle I noticed my steering wheel was still wobbly and very jerky, and I sent an email off to Dan to let him know. Dan and Dean responded quickly and told me to bring it in the next day and when Dean looked at it, he told me his mechanic could not specifically say what it was from but they “guessed it was from normal wear and tear but couldn’t be certain”. Dan told me he couldn’t be certain it was from the accident, and if he submitted it, he didn’t want to get stuck with the bill himself. I am telling you that my vehicle was not like this when I brought it in, and the irony that it would just show up now as wear and tear after an accident is not a good enough definitive explanation for me. I traveled that evening with my vehicle on the highway and my car was jerking all over the road and is now a safety issue in my opinion. I will now have to have my vehicle looked at elsewhere to correct that issue. Overall, I am upset I was left hanging with this issue I know in my heart was not like this before the accident, and nobody could say for certain it wasn’t.
