Went to G&C from Allstate site. The job itself is solid but the service is not. They initially gave a very low estimation so I decided to go with them but when the job is done, the price doubled. It doesn’t really matter much to me as Allstate paid for it. However, I ended up not doing the side job I wanted. In addition, during the job, I needed them to talk to the dealer to check on potential mechanics. They sent the car but barely did anything. I was asked to check with dealer myself.

During car pick up, they don’t accept credit card, which they told us in advance. But it’s inconvenient. They didn’t include any documents as promised either. I had to follow up later to get an electronic copy.

provided real time feedback to AAA adjuster

overall Terrible experience. What was initially promised to be 3 day job turned out to be ~2 months. The body shop has changed the estimated completion date at least 9 times, everytime extending it by few days. At least 8 times, they ordered wrong parts (according to the messages from Body shop that I shared with AAA). I can understand ordering and getting wrong parts 1 or 2 times. Getting wrong parts 8 consecutive times demonstrates incomplete. what is worse is the lack of good communication through out. i had to call everytime on the day I am supposed to pick up the vehicle only to be told that they received wrong parts again and need to push out completion date. Situation got so bad that i had involved AAA, and the adjuster had to chase the Body shop last 3 times to get confirmed completion date.
