I have utilized Gerber in the past and was VERY satisfied with their work. They were down a tech and offered me the opportunity to have the services outsourced, which I declined. I waited to have repairs performed by Gerber as I trust the quality of their work.

Gerber has done work for me in the past which is why I selected them for this repair. Only 2 concerns: 1) When I dropped vehicle for repair work I was told that some damage would NOT be repaired because it was unrelated to this accident. The gentleman insisted that he had NOT received the estimate from Cincinnati Insurance which was “copied for the file” by a female employee at this Gerber location (the day I was seen for the estimate); 2) I was offered/encouraged to allow repair work to be sub-contracted out to another repair shop so that the work could be completed faster because this location was short a technician who wouldn’t start until July. I insisted that the work be done by Gerber. Days later I received the update that work had not been started on my vehicle and I was again offered the option to sub-contract with another repair shop. I declined the offer and reiterated that when I dropped the vehicle off that I ONLY WANTED THE REPAIR WORK TO BE PERFORMED BY GERBER, which was eventually completed.

I appreciate the professionalism of everyone but in Particular the Collision expert who explained things not just about the repairs, but things about my car in general. I trusted him....I think his name was Ed.....I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage of.

You guys take forever, don't do the repairs properly, then send them to different places and don't even fix it correctly then you charge the insurance company a fortune for a sloppy job.
