While the repair itself was satisfactory, I feel that the communication needs to be improved.

While the receptionist was always friendly and helpful, I had to initiate most of the communication with Gerber regarding the status of my vehicle. There was one day that they indicated that they would contact Progressive and Enterprise about extending my rental, and I received a call from Enterprise the next morning informing me that they had not received that message. It was eventually handled, but the lack of communication was a little frustrating.

Standard work, yes, and even working with progressive, which is a not great insurance company to deal with when it’s dealing with repairs. I have another insurance company as my primary would never use progressive

They did a good job navigating progressive. Even though I know or knew OEM parts were not being installed, they did pay attention to fit. I’m making this review prior to them completing some things because this was my final notice for a review yet it’s still a couple of days before they get a part in and get it installed because it wasn’t oem part and And operate correctly.
