again, i liked megan and ? but the work was slow, delayed, I was not kept up to date, missed deadlines, the car was not finished when I picked up, and it still makes a nastly whine,growl while on the freeway from the rear. i will drive for a few more days and may need to return it for further evalutation.

Guys, I'm a 30+ year claim guy who ran large, medium and small claim departments so I'm both more flexible and more discerning than most people would be. I had fair but higher expectations about Gerber than were met. See the following comments and see if you feel I am being harsh. I don't think so. I really appreciated Megan and the other lady but I think Gerber could do a lot better. Thanks for asking.

candidly, my expectations were a little higher than what I realized. Megan and ? were great and super helpful but the finish dates were changed repeatedly and I really did not know when the job would transpire. Then we were so far out that I think they tried to rush it done and missed a number of items. After I took it the rear wiper and washer were not installed, the TPM was not working, a rear tail light was out and the interior of the vehicle was really dirty. I would have expeted it to be vaccumed but there was a lot of sand and the surfaces were dusty and gritty. Really felt rushed out before it was properly cared for.

I had no issues with the actual interaction with employees, I was very satisfied with that. I was told a couple times that they were waiting for parts, "should be done by x time", but I never once got an update and had to call every time just before closing, etc to follow up to see if they would be done by the time they said they might be done. The only call I got was them telling me it was ready to be picked up.

They took the time and listened to me. I don't want my car to smell like paint so the person who repaired my vehicle did the more difficult painting outside a booth. I appreciate this and I will return for future body work.
