One very small area of removing scratches/re-painting on left side above where gas is put in, got missed. I called & spoke with Roy who looked at pics heād taken. He apologized that he had missed it, saying he thought it was part of lower side bumper, which DID get removed & fixed. He said to optimally fix this would be around $2,000 (the repairs for the work that was done cost under $1,000). He said the only other option was to just buff out the missed area and repaint it, but it would not be quite like the other repairs that were done more to factory standards . I hope to keep this hybrid Camry as long as it runs, so I donāt want rust to develop around that area.,I plan to bring it back and leave it for a day to have the small area repaired/repainted. (That means I don't have my car for a day.) Roy was very kind and overall I am very satisfied with the repairs Glenbrook Collision did. I do think, however, that $2,000 to repair something missed by the employee is unsatisfactory. Since it is such a small area, I will settle for option #2. My husband just died a few months ago & I donāt have the energy to haggle over this, but the tech admitted he was probably in too big a hurry when he looked at the scratches on that side of my car. The reason for the scratches was I backed into my friendās car, which was parked in my driveway. I am not used to someone being parked there; thus the scratches on the left side of my car & the right side of hers. (My friend is getting her car repaired this week at Glenbrook Collisionāhopefully no one will miss any areas on hers. Clearly, everyone makes mistakes.
